The Manchester Masons Team
The Manchester Area team operates two districts, City Derby and City Sykes, on behalf of all of the members of Manchester Masonry.
Below is a summary of each member of the teams’ role.
Mark is the Assistant Provincial Grand Master for the Manchester Area. He has the overall responsibility for Manchester Masonry.
Paul has responsibility for the Derby District; he oversees the activities of the Derby District Officers on behalf of Manchester Masons.
Chris has responsibility for the Sykes District; he also oversees the activities of the Sykes District Officers on behalf of Manchester Masons.
Ed has specific responsibility for recruitment within Derby District, he oversees the Derby District Lodge Membership Officers and coordinates their activities.
Chris has specific responsibility for recruitment within Sykes District, he oversees the Sykes District Lodge Membership Officers and coordinates their activities.
Mel ensures that all Derby District Lodges are communicated with, he has responsibility for sending out Area and Provincial notices as well as minuting all area meetings.
Darren ensures that all Sykes District Lodges are communicated with, he has responsibility for sending out area and provincial notices as well as minuting all area meetings.
Tony is the Derby District Charity Steward, and he has responsibility for obtaining funding for charitable causes, organising charitable events and delivering training to the Derby District Charity Stewards when required.
Steve is the Sykes District Charity Steward, and he has responsibility for obtaining funding for charitable causes, organising charitable events and delivering training to the Sykes District Charity Stewards when required.
John is the Derby District Mentor, he has responsibility for the pastoral care of new and existing members, he oversees the activities of the Lodge Mentors and delivers training workshops when required.
Roy is the Sykes District Mentor, he has responsibility for the pastoral care of new and existing members, he oversees the activities of the Lodge Mentors and delivers training workshops when required.
Andrew is responsible for promoting the Holy Royal Arch within the Manchester lodges and attracting new members, he also communicates Holy Royal Arch news to the members.
Bill is responsible for promoting the Holy Royal Arch within the Manchester lodges and attracting new members, he also communicates Holy Royal Arch news to the members.
Elliot is the Area Almoner and Manchester’s representative on the Committee of Benevolence.
Dennis looks after the Teddies for Loving Care initiative, ensuring that teddies are distributed to local hospitals, he also visits lodges to raise funds for the campaign.
Colin has responsibility for overseeing any lodge closures and amalgamations.
Darren is Chairman of the Manchester Level Club, he also manages the areas’ social media channels, the website and he reports on any events that Manchester Masons might be holding.
Dean creates podcasts for Manchester Masons, he also reports on any events that Manchester Masons might be holding.
Paul is the area webmaster, he designed the Manchester Masons website
Thomas produces the area newsletter, he also reports on any events that Manchester Masons might be holding
