Manchester Level Club have been arranging much needed funds for Wood Street Mission a charity that helps families in poverty with a focus on children.
As part of fundraising one of our Brethren Bro. Darren Fletcher has helped to secure a large amount of children’s bedding that has been very kindly donated by Character World Limited a major designer & manufacturer of high quality children’s bedding.
Sophie Bell who is the fundraising manager for Wood Street sent us a lovely email
“Darren what a fantastic donation! Thanks so much for sorting for us and for going to collect and drop off with us too, we really appreciate it. “
“These will help a lot of families out who need bedding, and make lots of children really happy. Getting new fun bedding is a treat for any kid, but when you don’t get many treats it’s really special. Especially after such a tough year.”
When delivering the bedding we heard stories of children crying with happiness due to them receiving new bedding, harrowing when you think about it?
