How Freemasonry was Born

June 25 @ 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Prepare to be transported through time in How Freemasonry Was Born — a captivating theatrical journey that reveals the birth of Freemasonry as you’ve never seen it before.

Starring distinguished members of the East Lancashire Light Blues Club (ELLC) and written by Brother Francesco Toto, this original stage production brings to life the legends, philosophies, and pivotal moments that led to the formation of the world’s first Grand Lodge in 1717.

Through powerful storytelling, authentic period dress, and dramatic reenactments, audiences will witness the transition from operative stonemasons to speculative Freemasons, uncovering the ideals of brotherhood, enlightenment, and secrecy that helped shape modern society.

Whether you’re a Freemason, a history enthusiast, or love compelling theatre, How Freemasonry Was Born offers a unique and inspiring evening of performance, heritage, and insight into one of the world’s most enduring mysteries.
