Dear Manchester Masons

We are  reaching out from Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity.

On 21 February 2025, we’re hosting the Manchester Sleep Out at Depot Mayfield. This powerful overnight fundraising challenge event raises awareness and vital funds for the 23,000 young people we predict will face homelessness this winter.

The Manchester Sleep Out is more than a fundraiser— it’s a chance for local communities to unite and show their commitment to ending youth homelessness. We’d love to partner with Manchester Masons to encourage your local network to participate.

What is Sleep Out?

· A night of engaging activities: that will immerse you in Centrepoint’s mission to end youth homelessness by 2037.

· opportunity to learn directly from staff and young people: hear powerful panel discussions from both staff and young people about their experiences and the impact of your support.

· Overnight fundraising challenge: You will then bed down for uncomfortable nights’ sleep, to provide a small glimpse into some of the realities faced by the young people we support.

Why get involved?

Make an impact: Funds raised directly support Centrepoint’s services, including housing, mental health support, and education for young people across the UK.
Show community leadership: Sleep Out participants stand united for an urgent cause, representing Manchester’s compassion and resilience.
Engage your community members: Inspire teams to take action and involve the local community in a meaningful and memorable event.
